the most versatile jumpsuit

Happy Monday, friends!

If you know me, you know that I love a good jumpsuit. And when I find one that I fall in love with, I have to share it with you guys!! So, here it is! This black wide leg cropped jumpsuit from Red Dress Boutique is the absolute cutest for spring. I love that the cropped leg allows it to be causal if you prefer… just pair it with some wedges, a cute crossbody and high ponytail with a silk tie wrapped around it and you’d be set for a brunch date with the girls. If you prefer to dress it up, just style it like I did here with strappy sandals, statement hoop earrings and a bold animal print clutch. I’m still obsessing over animal print and since it’s transitioned to the new neutral, I know it isn’t going anywhere soon. Other ways to wear this jumpsuit would be to throw a crop sweater over it with some sneakers, or put a denim jacket over it or around your waist and a baseball cap. Complete your outfit with a belt bag for a causal cool, edgy look. The options are endless!

Today I’m sharing this evening look that I wore to last week’s Galentine’s event held at Tootsies with a handful of blogger babes. The moment I saw this dress at Lily Rain it was love at first sight. A LBD with tassels? Sign me up! Tassel everything is so on trend and I couldn’t pass up this adorable piece. I plan on wearing it again this weekend to celebrate my sister-in-law’s 40th in San Antonio at Hotel Emma. I paired this look with my favorite nude Louboutin’s and my new favorite necklace, also a Lily Rain find. I completed the look with my go-to + classic Prada clutch.

Happy Friday, friends!

We got back from San Diego on Wednesday and I must say– baby girl did great on her first trip! The plane ride up there was a breeze!! We had a mild hiccup on the way back, only because the changing table slammed shut after using, making the loudest noise that any changing table in the world could make (of course!). This frightened little bit, which led to screaming and me trying to soothe her in a tiny airplane bathroom. It was a rough 5 minutes that felt like hours!! I’m not quite scarred, but let’s just say my heart goes out to anyone traveling with a tiny babe.

On another note, I’m sharing one of my favorite travel dresses today! This universal off-the-shoulder style can really dress up a look, while making it feminine and flirty. You can wear this black mini pretty much to anything! I played it up by layering a long VSA necklace, and my go-to booties. I’ve gotten so much use out of these babies!! I wore this look on our first night out in San Diego. Although it rained half the time, I’m so glad we went!! This mama needed to get out of Houston for a bit!

Happy November guys! I’ve been a little MIA, but for good reason! My baby girl turned 2 months today, and she still doesn’t have a sleeping schedule down. Little peanut likes to party at night! I’ve never been more grateful for concealer and yoga pants…

Today I’m sharing my FAVORITE fur vest (linking an animal-friendly option, too). When Fall/Winter is here, this fur vest is one of my favorite pieces to layer with. The is one of my top pieces that I get at least two compliments each time I wear it– and I wear it a lot! Another trend that I’ve been obsessing over lately are chokers! Happy Memorial Day Weekend!!!

If you’re out celebrating in the sun I’m a little jealous– it’s currently storming + flooding in the Houston area. 🙁 So while I’d much rather be sitting by a pool tanning my belly, I’m stuck indoors working on blog stuff. At least I’m being more productive, right?!

I’m so excited for Summer to be approaching this year– sweaters and leggings do not sound fun with a growing belly! Today I’m sharing my go-to little white dress with you. A girl can never have too many white dresses, right?

I’m loving the deep cut on this Wayf dress because it really brings it to the next level by dressing it up. The soft details on the fabric makes it feminine and flirty, too. I added these Jeffrey Campbell lace-ups that I’m currently loving, especially in this soft grey color.
